MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - Two improvised bombs and bomb parts have been found in a Tyumen house where two fighters of the ISIL terrorist organization (banned in Russia) were neutralized, the Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement.
The antiterrorist operation began in Tyumen in the evening of April 12, and two ISIL members plotting terror attacks in the region were killed. Neither law enforcement nor civilian casualties occurred.
"The Tyumen regional branch of the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the basis of Part 1, Article 30, and Part 2 Paragraphs a, f, and g of Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code (a conspiracy to kill two people or more in a socially dangerous way) and Article 317 of the Russian Criminal Code (attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer)," the statement, which was posted on the Russian Investigative Committee's website, said.
"Officers of the Tyumen regional branch of the Russian Investigative Committee have examined the incident scene and ordered that forensic medical, technical and DNA examinations be made. Two Kalashnikov rifles, two improvised explosive devices, religious books, electronic devices, and bomb parts were found and seized from the militants' house," the statement said.
