Catching up with other countries' number of satellites in orbit will take years - Patrushev

MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Russia's lagging behind other countries in terms of number of its satellites in orbit can be overcome but will take more than a year, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.

"Yes, but not within a year," Patrushev said in response to a relevant question.

"There will be a whole program on how soon we will do this and how," he said.
