MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - The Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and Chinese Ambassador Li Hui discussed the situation in Libya and Sudan and reaffirmed their countries' intention to closely coordinate their foreign policies.
"The pair discussed the pressing aspects of the Middle East agenda with an emphasis on the current military-political developments in Libya and the situation in Sudan," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The parties "reaffirmed the mutual resolve of Moscow and Beijing further to maintain close foreign-policy interaction across a wide spectrum of issues of mutual interest."
