"In the context of the 12th International Meeting on Syria, which has taken place in Nur-Sultan on April 25-26, the interlocutors reaffirmed the priority task of launching the Constitutional Committee as soon as possible. At the same time, the principles of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity should be unconditionally observed," the statement said.
In the phone call the two presidents "stressed the significance of further close coordination of Russia's and Turkey's actions seeking stabilization in the Idlib governorate and of the need of undertaking effective measures to suppress terrorist groups," the press service said.
