MOSCOW. April 30 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed concern with the latest developments Libya and spoke for the soonest cessation of hostilities in the country in a telephone conversation on Tuesday.
"[The leaders] expressed mutual concern over the escalation in Libya," the Kremlin press service said.
Putin and Erdogan "spoke for the soonest ceasefire and resumption of the process of political settlement under the aegis of the United Nations," it said.
