CHEBOKSARY. May 13 (Interfax) - Visitors were evacuated from several shopping centers in Cheboksary on Monday, an informed source told Interfax.
"There was an evacuation. The buildings are now being inspected," the source said.
The source did not specify the number of buildings from which visitors were evacuated and why the evacuation was conducted.
The local media have reported, citing eyewitnesses, that visitors had been evacuated from four shopping malls. According to journalists' information, the reason was bomb threats.
Law enforcement agencies have not officially confirmed this information to Interfax.
