MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - Roscosmos is unaware of whether its director Dmitry Rogozin's son Alexei is going to work in the space rocket industry.
"We have no such information," Roscosmos spokesman Vladimir Ustimenko told journalists on Thursday.
In mid-April, Iluyshin's board of directors removed Alexei Rogozin and replaced him with Yury Grudinin as the new head of the company.
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) press service said at the time that Rogozin was stepping down as UAC Vice President for Transport Aviation and Ilyushin's General Director "due to being transferred to a new job."
Rogozin will be transferred to a job in a non-aviation industry, an informed source told Interfax.
Alexei Rogozin was appointed as UAC Vice president and Ilyushin's general director in 2017. Grudinin was CEO and chief design engineer at Beriev Aircraft Company from 2015.
