Russian Deputy FMs Grushko, Ryabkov receive German ambassador in Moscow

MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - German Ambassador in Moscow Ruediger von Fritsch has had two meetings at the Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko discussed with von Fritsch "Russia's relations with NATO and the EU, steps to overcome an institutional crisis in the Council of Europe and ensure proper functioning of this organization, and the process of 'a structured dialogue' on the military security issues as part of the OSCE," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The parties additionally addressed separate relevant items of mutual concern on the international agenda.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov discussed with the German ambassador "international and regional security with an emphasis on the situation in arms control and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction," the statement said.
