ST. PETERSBURG. June 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that his latest conversation with U.S. counterpart Donald Trump has been encouraging, including on the subject of offensive arms limitation.
"Take my latest conversation with President Trump. It is in fact encouraging. He said that he is worried about it, too, and that he understands how much the United States and all other countries spend for armament. This money could be spent on other things," Putin said during his meeting with chiefs of the world's leading news agencies.
"I absolutely agree with him," Putin added.
