Russia to deliver S-400 systems to Turkey, assemble them during summer - Deputy PM Borisov

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - Russia will deliver S-400 air defense missile systems to Turkey and assemble them during this summer, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said.

"There has been no revision of the contracts that have been signed and obligations under them on Turkey's part," Borisov said when asked by journalists on Friday whether there were risks for the S-400 deal with Turkey amid the growing pressure Washington is putting on Ankara.

"We are going ahead in strict accordance with the contract. There has been a request [from Ankara] that the delivery be completed earlier than it was previously planned. Everything, including the delivery and the assembly, will be carried out this summer," he said.
