MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - The engines of Aeroflot's Sukhoi Superjet 100, which crash-landed at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport on May 5, failed after landing, and there are no signs of any engine damage sustained during the flight, the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) said in its preliminary investigative report.
"After the plane touched down for the third time, flight data recorders indicated a possible (full or partial) loss of control over the engines. The commission will study engine control computers for further analysis," the report said.
According to the report, the engines kept running until the end of recording by the parametric data recorder.
