UAC to showcase Be-20 aircraft at Le Bourget airshow, no other life-size mockups

MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - The only life-size mockup to be exhibited by the United Aircraft Corporation at the Paris Air Show will be that of the amphibious aircraft Beriev Be-200, the corporation's press service said.

"The UAC will display its developments in various segments of the market, including the line of its civil and transport aviation projects. Be-200 will be the only life-size UAC exhibit this year. the aircraft will take part in the summer program and be available on static display," the UAC said.

BE-200 is an amphibious aircraft, can be used for firefighting, providing emergency aid in disaster areas, search and rescue on the water, patient airlift and cargo transportation services, and environmental monitoring.

Other exhibits will include a number of Sukhoi, Mikoyan and Yakovlev aircraft, T-50 (Su-57), Su-32, Su-35, Su-30SM, MiG-29K and MIG-35, Yak-130 and Yak-152.

Meanwhile, Russian Helicopters said that it will showcase its Ansat light multipurpose helicopters in two complements: for patient airlifting and VIP transportation services. Russian civilian helicopters have not exhibited at the forum for 30 years now, the company said.

The international aerospace show is held at Le Bourget on June 17-23.
