HMEIMIM (Syria). June 19 (Interfax) - Militants operating in the Idlib de-escalation area in Syria have several times violated the cessation of hostilities regime over the past 24 hours, head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Alexei Bakin told a press briefing on Tuesday.

"In the past 24 hours, militants have carried out fire attacks on the populated localities of Shmaisa, Eyn-al-Naur, and Mamuhiyah, Kermel, Hamrat, Safsafa, Kara-Jagez and Ikko in the Latakia province, and Al-Jalama, Kafer-Yahut and Hamamiyat in the Hama province," Bakin said.

Russia's Reconciliation Center has urged commanders of illegal armed units "to stop armed provocations and embark on the path of peaceful settlement in areas under their control."
