MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Crews of the Western Military District's S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems stationed in the Leningrad region have practiced deterring an air attack, the district press service said in a statement.
The crews marched to designated areas under protection of Pantsir air defense artillery and missile systems.
"The crews detected, identified, and locked onto airborne targets of the mock enemy and performed electronic missile launches," the statement said.
Additionally, driver-mechanics of Triumf vehicles trained off-road and high-speed driving in both the day- and nighttime.
About 100 personnel and over 30 items of weapons and military hardware were engaged in the training.
