BRUSSELS. June 19 (Interfax) - The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) is initiating criminal prosecution of four men suspected of downing the Malaysia Airlines' MH17 flight in Ukraine in 2014, a JIT representative said at a press briefing on Wednesday.

"We have reached a stage at which four men we suspect [of this crime] can be indicted," the representative said.

"These four men are: Igor Girkin, Sergei Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov, and Leonid Kharchenko. Suspects Girkin, Dubinsky, and Pulatov are citizens of Russia and, to our knowledge, are currently located in Russia. Suspect Kharchenko is a Ukrainian citizen, and we believe he is situated in eastern Ukraine, in the area uncontrolled by the authorities," another JIT representative said.
