DONETSK. June 19 (Interfax) - The militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) could not have used Buk missile systems as the system is not in operation there, spokesman for the DPR People's Militia Danil Bezsonov told Interfax.
"The Buk combat unit consists of at least four machines that carry out various tasks to support and service the missile system. It can only be operated by high-class specialists who have specific skills and are familiar with the foundations of its operation. The DPR army does not have such systems, and the militia did not have them in 2014," Bezsonov said.
