UFA. June 19 (Interfax) - Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev held a meeting with Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani in Ufa, spokesman of the Russian Security Council Yevgeny Anoshin told reporters.
"The interlocutors confirmed that Russia and Iran will continue close cooperation in ensuring regional security, and the cooperation on the counter-terrorism track," Anoshin said.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the international meeting between high representatives for security under way in Ufa.
