MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - A visit of Russian specialists to the Richard Lugar Center for Public Health Research near Tbilisi, Georgia, is still being planned, but there are more important issues in bilateral relations at present, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the press on Monday.
"Our relations with this country have complicated. Naturally, other issues have come to the forefront," Ryabkov said.
"We are still planning a visit to the laboratory; it does remain on the agenda. We simply need to agree on visit parameters with colleagues in Tbilisi," he said.
"But for now, it isn't item No. 1; it's not high on our agenda," Ryabkov said, adding that "it has been eclipsed by completely different issues."
