OSAKA. June 28 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has shared a few brief words with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during the G20 summit in Osaka on Friday.
Putin and Merkel met briefly following the latest 'family photo session' on their way to a concert for the G20 summit participants.
The Russian and German leaders are expected to hold a separate face-to-face meeting on Saturday morning.
Many G20 leaders took advantage of the time before the concert to have a quick word with each other while taking a stroll around the concert hall. Putin exchanged a few words with Trudeau; for instance, with whom he will not be holding a separate meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
