Russia hopes to reach consolidated decision on OPEC+ deal on Tuesday - Novak

VIENNA. July 2 (Interfax) - Russia hopes to reach a consolidated decision on the OPEC+ deal on Tuesday, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.

"I hope we'll reach a consolidated decision today. The discussion is about to take place," he said ahead of a meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries.

On Monday, OPEC decided to extend the deal for nine months without modifying the terms adopted in December 2018. OPEC countries will continue to keep oil production 800,000 bpd lower than the amount produced in October 2018.

Non-OPEC countries participating in the deal decreased production by 400,000 bpd compared with October.
