LUHANSK. July 2 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have downed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) near the populated locality of Zolote in Donbas, spokesman for the militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) Ivan Filiponenko said.
"On July 29, a UAV of the OSCE SMM was downed using small arms at the order of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 54th brigade Commander Maistrenko near the populated locality of Zolote," Filiponenko told journalists on Tuesday.
The UAV "was previously involved in the video recording of the events near the area of the disengagement of forces and hardware in Stanytsia Luhanska and recorded an Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer deployed on the outskirts of the populated locality of Vyskryva," he said.
