Russia implements first portion of liabilities under contract on S-400 delivery for Turkey - Rosoboronexport head

MOSCOW. July 25 (Interfax) - Russia has fulfilled the first portion of its liabilities as part of the contract for the delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems to Turkey, Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheyev said.

"Over 30 special flights with the first batch of equipment of the air defense system have been made to Turkey since July 12," Mikheyev said.

The Russian arms exporter has implemented "the first portion of liabilities to Turkish partners for the delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems" on Thursday, he said.

"Rosoboronexport signed the contract for the supply of S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems in Moscow in April 2017. This is the company's largest export contract with the NATO member states," Mikheyev said.
