NUR-SULTAN. Aug 1 (Interfax) - The work of the guarantor countries on the Astana platform will accelerate the political process in Syria, Russian Special Presidential Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev said.
"We think that the result of our work will make it possible to get off the ground the political process in Syria, which has, frankly speaking, dragged on," Lavrentyev said at a press conference following the first day of talks on Syria in Nur-Sultan.
