MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Moscow is calling on Washington not to deploy intermediate- and shorter-range ballistic missiles despite the termination of the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.
"We urge the U.S. not to deploy its missiles of the given types, which unfortunately has been actively talked about in Pentagon, and follow Russia's example by taking all necessary steps to ensure global stability and predictability," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its website.
"Otherwise, the entire responsibility for the rise in global tensions will lie with Washington," the statement said.
