State awards conferred on nuclear specialists killed in blast at testing site near Arkhangelsk - Kremlin official

SAROV. Aug 12 (Interfax) - State awards have been conferred on employees of the Sarov nuclear center killed in a recent explosion at a testing site in the Arkhangelsk region, first deputy head of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Kiriyenko said.

"High state awards have been conferred on them in accordance with the president's decision," Kiriyenko said at a mourning ceremony in Sarov on Monday.
