MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - NATO's F-18 fighter has attempted to approach Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu's aircraft flying over the Baltic Sea, it was driven away by the Russian Sukhoi Su-27 jet fighters, the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television channel said.
"NATO's F-18 fighter attempted to approach Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu's aircraft, the Russian Su-27 drove it away from Shoigu's aircraft over the Baltic Sea," the TV channel said.
The Russian defense minister's aircraft was escorted by the Baltic Fleet navy aviation's two Su-27 jet fighters en route from Kaliningrad to Moscow.
