YEREVAN. Aug 14 (Interfax) - A meeting between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev with his Armenian counterpart Armen Grigoryan took place as part of the former's visit to Yerevan on August 13, the press service for the Armenian Security Council told Interfax on Tuesday.
"During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of Armenian-Russian strategic alliance relations, expanding cooperation as part of the CSTO [Collective Security Treaty Organization], and the use of new opportunities," the press service said.
Regulations of the sale of armaments to third countries were also discussed, the press service said. The parties expressed satisfaction with the current pace of military-technical and military-economic cooperation as part of partnership and alliance between Armenia and Russia, noting the importance of intensifying cooperation in the military industry and the need to create new enterprises, it said.
