MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - An ambulance was called to the Moscow Lefortovsky District Court after suspected U.S. spy Paul Whelan complained about feeling unwell.
"The court is recessing to call an ambulance," Judge Yelena Kaneva said.
Whelan kept complaining about feeling unwell during the Friday hearing, but said they considered it inappropriate to call an ambulance "because there will be no specialist [in the paramedic team] to properly assess my condition."
"This will do no good, because they won't take me to a hospital. They'll take my blood pressure, they'll take my temperature and say, 'You're okay'. This is a dog-and-pony show," Whelan said.
