KOROLYOV. Aug 26 (Interfax) - Russian cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov, who manually redocked the Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft from one module of the International Space Station (ISS) to another, minimized fuel consumption, flight supervisor of the ISS Russian segment Vladimir Solovyov told the press.
"Redocking was successful. Skvortsov demonstrated perfect piloting skills. I've seen many redockings, but nothing like this one. I believe he has set a record for minimizing fuel consumption," Solovyov said.
Soyuz MS-13 piloted by commander Skvortsov and two flight engineers, Luca Parmitano and Andrew Morgan, undocked from Zvezda and performed a manual docking with MIM2 on Monday morning.
Soyuz MS-14 carrying the robot FEDOR will dock with Zvezda on Tuesday. The spaceship performed a special maneuver at 8:30 a.m. Moscow time on Monday to attempt to dock with the ISS again at 6:12 a.m. Moscow time on Tuesday.
