MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) - New products of the aerospace industry which are being displayed at the MAKS 2019 international show evidence sustainable development of the industry and invariable reliability and safety of its products, President Vladimir Putin said in his greetings to the salon organizers and guests, which were published on the Kremlin website.
"I have no doubt that MAKS will be successful and help bolster the domestic aerospace industry's potential for innovations and competitiveness. It will also promote cooperation with foreign partners and implementation of promising, ambitious projects," Putin said.
Leading Russian designers and manufacturers of aerospace equipment and their foreign colleagues have been meeting at one of the world's major industry shows in Zhukovsky, Moscow region, for over 25 years, he said.
"MAKS introduces specialists to the achievements of Russian scientists, engineers, and designers in the field of civilian, military, and cargo aircraft building and helicopter industry," Putin said.
"I am pleased to say that new products demonstrated at this show clearly evidence successful development of Russia's aerospace industry, which preserves the best traditions of the national designer school and boldly implements modern technologies," he said.
"Quality, reliability, and safety of products remain invariable," Putin said.
