ZHUKOVSKY. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said he discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cooperation on modern Russian fighter aviation.
"In terms of fighter aviation, we discussed cooperation on Su-35 [of the fourth generation] and potential work even on the new Su-57 aircraft. We have a lot of opportunities, we showcased both new weapons systems and new electronic warfare systems," Putin said at a press conference following talks with Erdogan.
"I believe our Turkish partners are interested in many things and not only in terms of purchasing, but also in terms of joint production," he said.
"By the way, we are ready for it and will now actively discuss certain tracks of it with partners," the Russian president said.
