Militants launch 25 attacks in Idlib on Aug 26 - Russian Defense Ministry

HMEIMIM. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Militants launched 25 attacks in the Idlib de-escalation area on August 26, head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Alexei Bakin said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

"Twenty-five attacks were observed on August 26. Fighters of illegal armed units attacked Sabikiyah, Benyamin, Kafr Hamra, Makanis ad-Duwairi, and Halasa in the Aleppo province, Sanjeka, Ardash Dag, Shatha at-Tahta, Ayn al-Qantara, Saraf, Kara Galia, Sandran, Djanadjik, Qal'at Marza, Nahshebba, al-Areim, Mamuhiyah, and Ayn Sleimo in the Latakia province, and Sukkoria in the Idlib province," Bakin said.

The Russian Center for Reconciliation urged commanders of illegal armed units to stop armed provocations and to enter upon a course of reconciliation in the areas under their control.
