Second stage of S-400 delivery to Turkey to last several weeks - FSMTC head

ZHUKOVSKY. Aug 28 (Interfax) - The second stage of Russia's delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems to Turkey will last for several weeks, head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Dmitry Shugayev told the press on Wednesday.

"The S-400 delivery, the second part of the systems, started yesterday and will last several weeks," Shugayev said on the sidelines of the MAKS 2019 international aerospace show.

"Turkish specialists are being trained; this will be completed late this year or early next year. As a result, S-400 systems will be put on combat duty through joint efforts, consistent with the contract," he said.
