KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has endorsed the formation of 23 parliamentary committees and voted for the proposed committee chairs and members.
The committee chairs are as listed below. All committees are chaired by a member of the ruling party, Servant of the People, unless otherwise noted.
The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations: Mykola Solsky;
The Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction: Anastasiya Krasnosilska;
The Committee on the Budget: Yuriy Aristov;
The Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy: Oleksandr Tkachenko;
The Committee on Environmental Policy and Natural Resources: Oleh Bondarenko;
The Committee on Economic Development: Dmytro Natalukha;
The Committee on the Energy Complex and Housing and Communal Services: Andriy Herus;
The Committee on Public Health, Medical Care and Medical Insurance: Mykhaiko Radutsky;
The Committee on Foreign Affairs and Interparliamentary Cooperation: Bohdan Yaremenko;
The Committee on European Integration: Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze (European Solidarity);
The Committee on Youth Policy and Sports: Andriy Kozhemyakin (Batkivshchyna);

Each committee can consist of no fewer than five and no more than 34 members.
The former Verkhovna Rada had 27 committees and a commission in charge of privatization.
