MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - The Russian Navy is due to receive 176 auxiliary vessels under the 2018-2027 state armament program, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting with defense officials on Tuesday.
"Currently, the auxiliary fleet has 152 modern vessels, serviceability has been increased to 85%. Under the state armament program for 2018-2027, another 176 vessels will be delivered," Shoigu said.
Today the Navy's auxiliary fleet numbers over 450 vessels, some of which are out of order and have no prospect of further use.
