VLADIVOSTOK (Russky Island). Sept 4 (Interfax) - The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) intends to repair the heavy aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov on time, USC CEO Alexey Rakhmanov told Interfax.
"There are currently no deviations; we are living out our plans. If other decisions are made, we will work according to them. Nothing has changed; it's 2021," Rakhmanov said, responding to a question on the timeframe for the completion of the Admiral Kuznetsov's repair.
Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Adm. Nikolai Yevmenov told Interfax that the Navy is hoping to procure the aircraft carrier in 2021 after its upgrades.
