ISTANBUL. Sept 4 (Interfax) - An Ilyushin Il-76TD transport aircraft has delivered a new batch of Russian S-400 air defense missile system components to Turkey, an informed source told Interfax.
The aircraft carrying the components landed at the Murted Air Base near Istanbul on Wednesday.
It had been reported earlier that the second phase of the S-400 system delivery to Turkey had begun on August 27. Since then, transport planes have landed at the Murted Air Base eight times.
