MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Moscow does not see any positive dynamics in Russian-U.S. relations despite President Donald Trump's attempts to normalize them, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with the newspaper Izvestia.
"Regretfully, nothing positive has been happening on the practical level despite the repeatedly confirmed intention of U.S. President Trump and his key officers to normalize relations with Russia," Lavrov said.
"A downward trend persists," he said.
"U.S. colleagues keep imposing unilateral sanctions out of thin air, without adducing any arguments. This disagrees with the intentions constantly demonstrated by the U.S. president," Lavrov said.
