VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shino Abe discussed the peace treaty issue at their meeting on Wednesday, yet "there was no change" at the peace treaty talks, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov told the press.
"Various aspects of bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic affairs, were discussed in a profound way, and the peace treaty issue was naturally discussed, too," Ushakov said.
"There was no change" at the peace treaty talks after the meeting, he said.
"It has been agreed to continue the operation of the existing formats," Ushakov said.
