VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 5 (Interfax) - There are plenty of questions arising from Tokyo's military obligations with the United States to be addressed at the talks on the peace treaty between Japan and Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum.
"There are plenty of issues related to the conclusion of the peace treaty: regretfully, some of them go beyond bilateral relations. There are military, defense, and security issues. Besides, the stance of third countries, as well as Japan's obligations to third countries, such as the United States, has to be taken into consideration," Putin said.
