MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax) - The Russian Black Sea Fleet's guard ship Pytlivy has completed its business call at the port of Limassol, Cyprus, the Black Sea Fleet press service said on Wednesday.
"The Russian ship's call at the foreign port took place in accordance with its plan of stay in the Mediterranean and its resupply schedule," the fleet press service said.
The ship will continue accomplishing its missions as part of the permanent unit of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean after visiting Limassol, the military said.
The Russian Northern Fleet press service said on Monday that the tanker Vyazma and the tug boat SB-406, supporting the mission of the missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov in the Mediterranean, had replenished their water, fuel and food supplies on Cyprus.
A Russian squadron is present in the Mediterranean on a permanent basis. It is composed of some 15 warships and supply vessels. Russian ships and submarines have repeatedly delivered strikes on militants in Syria from the Mediterranean using Kalibr missiles.
