BOCHAROV RUCHEI, Sochi. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Israel will not tolerate the threat emanating from Iran, which is attempting to use Syrian territory for aggression, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
"Interoperability between our militaries is always very important. This is especially important at this time, because we've seen in the past month that Iran has dramatically increased attempts to use Syrian territory for attacking us, in order to deploy missiles there," Netanyahu said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi on Thursday.
"We are not going to put up with this threat, and therefore we have to act. And the dialogue between us is all the more important. And I am sure we will discuss this at our meeting as well," he said.
Netanyahu said he had had talks with Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu before meeting Putin.
