Russia not to deploy intermediate or shorter-range missiles in Europe or other regions unless U.S. does so - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW Sept 13 (Interfax) - Russia will not be deploying intermediate or shorter-range missiles in Europe or any other world region unless the U.S. does so, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

"Russia is not planning to deploy such missiles in Europe or other regions of the world for as long as there are no similar weapons made in the U.S. in place there," the ministry said in a statement.
