SOCHI. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Moscow expects the Israeli leaders to arrive to attend the Victory Parade on May 9, 2020, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We look forward to the Israeli leaders' arrival for the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on Red Square in Moscow on May 9," Lavrov told journalists following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday.
President Putin has been invited to attend ceremonies marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp and the unveiling of the Siege of Leningrad memorial in Israel, he said.
"The president has confirmed that he views this positively," he said.
