Moscow, Kyiv have yet to discuss seized Ukrainian ships - Peskov

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Following the prisoner exchange, Moscow and Kyiv have not yet discussed the future of the Ukrainian ships seized by Russia after the incident in the Kerch Strait, but believe that the issue must be discussed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the press on Friday.

"I am not ready to discuss the issue just yet. It seems the issue should be raised as part of the ongoing contacts between Moscow and Kyiv. It will be discussed as soon as it is raised," Peskov said in response to the question on which terms Russia was ready to give back the ships.

As to whether Moscow and Kyiv discussed the issue after they swapped captives last week, Peskov said, "No, the issue has not been mentioned."
