Kremlin feels negative about Zelensky's remark on sanctions

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The Kremlin feels negative about the remark of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that described sanctions as an effective diplomatic tool.

"Negatively," Kremlin spokesman said in response to the question how the Kremlin felt about Zelensky's remark.

"There is a set of theses regarding sanctions, which may be a bit trivial but have proven to be correct: it is a two-edged weapon, which does not do any good to anyone, does not help solve a problem, contravenes international law, erodes international legal norms, and generally harms countries which impose or face the sanctions," Peskov said.
