Russian Defense Ministry says two Russian Tu-160 bombers followed by Belgian, Danish, Polish, Finnish, Swedish fighters over Baltic Sea

MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - Two Russian Tu-160 strategic bombers have completed a planned mission over international waters in the Baltic, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

"The flight duration was more than seven hours. During certain stages of the mission, the airplanes of long-range aviation were followed by F-16 fighters of Belgian, Danish, and Polish air forces, F-18 planes of Finland, and JAS-39 Grepen of the Swedish air force," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
