KYIV. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Ukraine sees the deployment of a peacekeeping mission in the eastern part of the country as a possible option in case the settlement process in Donbas based on the Minsk Agreements fails, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko said.
"Here is our proposal - to try to resolve our situation based on the Minsk Agreements that have been concluded. If we fail and if we face absolute unwillingness to move ahead, a peacekeeping mission could be among options for next steps," Prystaiko said at a joint meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committees on Foreign Policy and on Ukraine's Integration with the EU on Wednesday.
