MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres discussed a number of important matters on the UN's agenda in a telephone call on Friday.
"Special significance was attached to the facilitation of the settlement in Syria in light of the outcomes of the 5th trilateral meeting of the Astana process guarantor states in Ankara on September 12 this year, as well as the situation in the Persian Gulf area," the Foreign Ministry said.
