MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - China has evidence that the United States stood behind the plotting of the recent events in Hong Kong, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Li Zhanshu said.
"We have solid evidence that what has recently been taking place in Hong Kong is the result of careful planning and preparation by the U.S. and the West," he said at a meeting with Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
The information available to China indicates that these events were masterminded by the West and the U.S., Li said.
